The other day in Moscow, in the Pavilion restaurant on Patriarch's Ponds, a private reception of the Cluev jewelry house took place on the occasion of the presentation of the first part of the new Art Deco lRusse collection
The complete collection of 30 pieces will be a modern author's interpretation of one of the most important styles in jewelry art of the 20th century. “There was no Art Deco jewelry in Russia, and we intend to fill this gap in more than a hundred years,” says Ilya Klyuev, founder and ideological inspirer of the CLUEV house. “But the geometric shapes characteristic of Art Deco are no longer as attractive today as they were at the beginning of the 20th century, so we pay more attention to a new interpretation of oriental ornamentalism and the legacy of Diaghilev's“Russian Seasons”.

The script for the evening was created by Bell'Arte creative agency. In the Pavilion, the atmosphere of the Yalta embankment of the 1920s reigned, with cypresses and palm trees, sun loungers by the fountain, champagne and gifts from the Black Sea. To a live performance of a jazz band, the guests watched a theatrical jewelry fashion show based on the adventure novel “12 Chairs”: one of the chairs contained the masterpieces of the Art Deco lRusse collection. The guests also got the chance to be the first to get acquainted with the jewelry displayed in the windows and receive personal comments from Ilya Klyuev.

The "Lake of Happiness" set with natural Burmese sapphires of surprisingly deep blue color attracted special attention of guests and clients of the house. The set includes a necklace with a stylized image of the "Bird of Happiness", earrings in the form of inverted triangles with a pattern resembling a peacock feather pattern, a bracelet and a ring. The intricate movable white gold necklace required the work of five jewelers over a period of three months. Its central part is made in the form of a bird, inlaid with sapphires and diamonds. The necklace contains 1800 stones, and in total, about 4000 stones are used in the set.

A bold combination of precious and semi-precious stones in one piece has become one of the hallmarks of Art Deco in its time. CLUEV offers an updated interpretation of this technique in the Alcyone set in white gold with diamonds and natural Arizona turquoise. The multi-tiered movable necklace is a connection of links made in the form of stars. Turquoise is placed in the center of each star, whose rays are decorated with diamonds. Such decoration will emphasize the extravagance and brightness of its owner. The necklace is complemented by earrings of a consonant design.

Rarely beautiful yellowish-green demantoids from Namibia are used in the "Fairy Tales" diamond-shaped transformer earrings. The mobile earrings are decorated with white gold and diamonds ornaments. Their lower part comes unfastened, allowing you to wear earrings as a daytime decoration.
The CLUEV jewelry house has existed on the Russian market since 1998 and works only with natural stones of rare quality, purity and size - among them Burmese rubies and sapphires, Colombian emeralds, Paraiba tourmalines. Having started with cooperation with Italian and Swiss jewelers, today the house has refused their services, relying solely on domestic specialists: CLUEV has its own production in Russia, where all the jewelry is created. “We strive to offer our clients exactly what meets their desires and modern ideas about beauty,” Ilya Klyuev believes.

Today the CLUEV jewelry house has 3 boutiques in Moscow:
Crocus City Mall, Radisson Royal and Radisson Sas Slavyanskaya hotels.
